Woodley Theatre Covid Statement (subject to any Goverment changes)
What to expect at our productions
After an incredibly difficult time for everyone, we’re delighted to be able to return to the Oakwood conscious of the need to keep everyone safe. Here’s what you can expect at our productions, and what we ask of you:
COVID-19 Symptoms – if you have any of the symptoms of COVID-19 (a high temperature, new and persistent cough, or a loss of/change in sense of taste or smell), you should not attend the production, even if your symptoms are mild. In this case, you should self-isolate and take a PCR test in line with government guidance on testing and self-isolation.
Seating – since 19th July 2021, government guidance has permitted performance venues to open at full capacity so in line with current practice across the arts sector, bookings will not normally be socially distanced and you are likely to be sitting next to other people.
Masks – In consideration to others, you may wish to wear them in auditorium.
Ventilation – there is mechanical fresh air ventilation systems at the venue, that may be heard in the background. External doors will be opened before the performance and during the interval to help circulate fresh air. This may cause the temperature of the venue to drop slightly, so you may wish to bring an extra layer for the interval.
Cleaning – the venue will be cleaned before the day of the production.
