Barefoot in the Park

Barefoot in the Park

by Neil Simon, directed by Sally Goodsell

16-20 June 2015

Neil Simon's Barefoot in the Park follows the lives of young newlyweds Paul and Corrie Blatter, as they adjust to married life in a tiny New York apartment. Paul is a straight-laced lawyer, while Corrie is a free spirit who won't let anything disturb her married bliss. But will love survive in the face of bad plumbing, a hole in the roof, five flights of stairs, an eccentric neighbour and Corrie's batty mother?

Neil Simon's romantic comedy was a huge hit on Broadway, a film starring Robert Redford and Jane Fonda and still remains one of the most popular plays of Neil Simon's remarkable career.
